Jaberwocky Poem—Fisherman vs. Sea Monster

by Julia Schmidt

As I awoke in the morning

I frout to the kitchen,

I ate my sprowing

And I looked out the githen

I went out to the bay

And sat down at the quast

I picked up the futay

And I cast into the thrast

I sat there fishing

Then out of the blue,

A large greelish fish

Caught onto my strue

So I reeled and yooled

Until the fish got close

I held onto the farooled

And I pulled it close

Then I looked at it’s shuz,

And I saw the creatures size

No fish it was,

But a monster surprise

As I caught the shonsler

I went back to my home

I showed all the gonsber

And they were all frome

We dined well that night

And we went to bed happy

As I dreamt of that fight

I felt very dlampy
